The New UU: A Program for Welcoming Newcomers to Unitarian Universalist Congregations orients and integrates people new to UUism by sharing who we are and what we believe, inviting them to consider that in context of their own faith.

June 8: Growing in Faith: Philosophy of Religious Education

July 13: Social Justice Philosophy and Practice
August 10: Decision-Making: Governance and Polity

September 14: Membership

Self-Guided Religious Education

       UUs believe in life-long learning so our monthly bookstore provides many titles to expand our understanding.

• UUCH Book Store

Open on the third Sunday of each month  in the sanctuary after the service. 

Discover the many excellent books published by the UU publishing houses, Beacon Press and Skinner House, at our UUCH bookstore. You pay list price but no shipping. Credit cards, cash and checks accepted.
A variety of popular titles for all ages on both UU and general interest topics are available.

Small Groups

Much of our continuing spiritual education happens in small groups which discuss books and topics from a UU perspective.

• Book Discussion Group    

Meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. on Zoom. The UUCH Book Group welcomes all enthusiastic readers.

 • Men’s Discussion Group

meets on the fourth Tuesday at 6:3p p.m. p.m. in the Martin House (brick building next to the sanctuary) and on ZOOM

The purpose of the men’s group is to give UUCH men an opportunity to meet and share ideas within the context of our Unitarian Universalist scope of interest.

• Women’s Spirituality Group 

meets on the first Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom in the winter and in person in the summer in the Martin House (brick building next to the sanctuary)
The mission of the Women’s Spirituality Group is to broaden and deepen friendship among UUCH women, encourage each other’s spiritual and intellectual growth, and provide comfort, aid, and support for life’s challenges and choices.  All  UUCH women are welcome.
